Our purpose is to provide a sense of belonging, fellowship, and assistance to the needy out of God’s love. There are many people in the world around us in need of necessities of life among which are food, shelter, and clothing “For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore, I command you, saying, you shall freely open your hand to your brother, to the needy and poor in your land” (Deuteronomy 15:11). The aspiration of our Welfare Ministry is to create an atmosphere of sharing, caring and support to encourage members to be at ease in discussing a financial burden as they would a physical burden and to devise measures that can help in restoring individuals to a position of productivity and adequacy. The Welfare Ministry will not only render aid to church members in need, but assistance will also be extended to the needy in the community.
