The Good Women is the Support Tank of the church. Our core ministry is to support the work of God in the church with joy as unto the Lord. Women instruments in God’s hands and we therefore, surrender ourselves by His grace to be used. Here are some of our activities (through His grace) at Faith Impact Chapel:
*Prayer (Luke 18:1)
Women leaders do have monthly fasting and prayer meeting. Also, we do have a general house monthly prayer meeting which includes all the women in the church.
*Welfare (Phil 4:14-19)
To the glory of God, we have a Welfare Unit in the Women dept of FIC and what we do is to reach out to women who has not been active in church, or who are in need by paying a visit, giving in cash and kind, and also encouraging and giving godly counsel where necessary.
*Spiritual Growth & Development (Col 3:16)
We organize women conferences and workshop in order to enhance spiritual maturity and personal development among the women. We involve all our members to lead during any of our monthly meetings/annual events like:
– leading prayers,
– giving short exhortation
– leading praises
– making announcement etc.
This has positively changed and developed our women to bring out their God’s giving talents.
Our major objective is to make all women to be better wives, mothers, and to bring glory to God in all areas of life.
*Ministration (Psalm 108:1-3)
We do minister in songs every Thanksgiving Sunday to bless the people of God and we also do have our Annual Christmas Powerful Carol in December.
*Service (Col 3:23)
Women of Faith are members of several ministries in the church and some even are chosen by God to head some of those ministries.
