Psalms 127:3 says “Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.”
Children are one of the most precious gifts that God can give, and when they are entrusted in our care, we must do all that we can to nurture and guide them.
This world is filled with many challenges and obstacles, as it is now the end time. Children are our future generation and we must give them the tools that they need to survive, thrive, and most importantly, keep a solid relationship with God. That is why the Children’s Ministry is one of the most crucial things a child can have at their developing stages. It also helps equip parents with resources and tools to fulfill their calling as the primary spiritual trainer of their children.
Children’s Ministry is for Discipleship, Evangelism and Worship.
For Discipleship:
Children need a firm foundation: The time we spend with children at a young age has a huge impact on the rest of their lives because it is during this time when we are able to instill certain traits, practices, and beliefs that the child will not forget when they are older. Children’s Church Ministry allows us to fill our children with those core values from the Lord, so when they are in times of trouble, they will not fall to the earthly ways, but, instead, they will look upon the Lord.
For Evangelism:
Children are today’s generation: Each and every day, we see the light and potential that shines through our children. The Children’s Church Ministry can allow kids to see the calling in their life and equip them with all they need to make a difference now. There are many people in this world who don’t have Jesus, they are lost, and engage in sinful acts because they are blinded from the truth. If we are able to nurture our children, train them in the way of the Lord, and engage them in their various talents and gifts, our children can be the ones to bring all of the lost sheep in the world back to Christ.
For Worship:
Children need to feel the Goodness, Grace, and Love of God: When people come into the presence of God, they are able to see His wonderful light and rich love. It is important that children grow up knowing the true love of God and the wonders it can do. Raising a generation of children who know their worth in Christ is something that is indispensable.
Teaching children to grow in the way of the Lord is not always easy, but the reward comes at its own time. Children of God are their own special creatures who are the Light of the world.
